PLAN FOR TRAIL RIDING AT HORSE COUNTRY! WE ADVISE ALL OF OUR GUESTS TO PREPARE FOR SOME FANTASTIC TRAIL RIDING AND THE DIVERSE TERRAIN YOU WILL FACE WHICH INCLUDES ROCKY AND HILLY TRAILS, WATER CROSSINGS, BRIDGE CROSSINGS AND CLAY SOIL BASE WHICH CAN GET SLICK WHEN WET.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHOES ON THE FRONTS, OR TO BRING A SPARE SET OF BOOTS FOR YOUR HORSES. BAREFOOT HORSES THAT ARE WELL CONDITIONED TO HARD GROUND AND ROCKY CONDITIONS SHOULD BE FINE, HOWEVER, BRINGING ALONG A SPARE SET OF BOOTS IS SOMETHING WE DO ADVISE TO ENSURE YOUR VISIT AND TRAIL RIDING IS A PLEASURABLE AND POSITIVE ONE.

Must book a minimum of 2 nights to receive the group bonus

Groups receive a bonus Horse Country t-shirt (must be ordered in advance) or 1 complimentary breakfast voucher per campsite. Additional T-shirts can be purchased at a reduced rate and additional breakfast can also be purchased when booking.

Up to 2 people and 2 horses can camp on each site, so if your horses get along well or if one of our double sites are available you can save even more with our group deal.

You can book 2 double sites and 2 single sites and get the 5th site for free.

Also… when you book a second time in the same season as a group of 4 or more, we will also give you a 5th site for free and 20% off of that booking.

When you book as a group you will have access to:

  • Our Trail System of over 50 km’s with a wide variety of terrain
  • Our 100 x 200 new sand ring
  • Our obstacle course
  • Access to the resort for the showers, pool, beach, hot tubs, restaurant, sporting activities, kayaking, musical events and lots more
  • Access to audit clinics or to take part in various activities and events that are happening at the campground such as; pancake breakfast, gatherings, potlucks and mor

Important Trip Info and Policies

ALL CORRALS ARE TO BE CLEANED BY GUESTS UPON CHECKOUT OR A $75 FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO THE GUEST FOR A CLEANING FEE. ALL GARBAGE MUST BE EITHER PUT IN GARBAGE CANS OR TAKEN HOME BEFORE CHECKOUT. ANY GARBAGE LEFT BEHIND WILL RESULT IN A $75 CHARGE FOR DISPOSAL. PLEASE DON’T USE OUR FIREPITS AS A GARBAGE CAN OR CHARGES WILL APPLY AS WELL.

Extra Corrals and Extra guests: 

Our single corral campsites rent out for 2 adults and 2 horses and come with 1 corral per site.  Our corrals are for 2 horses only, but if you need to rent an extra corral, you can for an extra fee or you can also rent one of our double corral sites when they are available.  Extra guests must be signed in at the office and a nightly fee and all waivers must be signed. Children under 16 camp FREE, but a waiver must be filled out and signed by a parent.

Deposit:

A 50% deposit must be made at the time of booking and the remainder must be paid in full 30 days before arriving. It is fully refundable 31 days or more prior to the time of arrival minus a $20 admin fee.

Cancellation Policy

Horse Country Campground standard policy of 30 days or less from booking, no refund will be issued. Packages are transferable (change of original date or transferred to someone else)
